Patient Data Loader (PDL)

This software package allows the Film-ID 531 to load sets of patient information into the 531's internal worklist or to load the next patient from a batch. There are several supported loading modes:

A clinic's RIS/MIS system can be easily set up to output next patient information which is automatically loaded by the PDL package

The PDL packages also includes a feature which allows exposure history generated by a 531 unit to be saved in a database or flat file.

The PDL runs on a MS/Windows™ based PC. One copy can support one FilmID-531 units (multiple copies can execute). Units are physically interfaced to the FilmIDCom package via a USB connection.

FilmIDCom

This software package allows the Film-ID 531 technician to retrieve patient information from an industry standard DICOM radiology data/image server.

Patient data retrieval is keyed by Patient Number or MR Number. The technician enters this number at the 531's keyboard and the 531 forwards a look-up request to the FilmIDCom software. This software sends a look-up request to the hospital/clinic's DICOM server, receives the server reply, and returns the patient information to the 531 as the current patient's identification.

As a separate function, FilmIDCom can also record exposure history from the 531 in a PC-resident database (MS/Access™) so that patient information and exposure parameters can later be reviewed and reported.

FilmIDCom runs on a MS/Windows™ based PC. One copy can support multiple FilmID-531 and FilmID-521 units. Units are physically interfaced to the FilmIDCom package via an RS232 connection or a USB connection.
