LPI provides a variety of products to support the mammography specialty in the practice of radiology.
This includes products that support both screen film mammography and digital (CR) mammography.

The Film-ID 531 system, or Film Flasher, allows an X-Ray technician to permanently record exposure parameters and patient identification on film cassettes. Parameters can be automatically acquired from the X-Ray machine or manually entered from the keyboard.

Mammography markers are used for identifying mammography image views on film or CR plates. They are available in three different styles:
Flip Film Markers (shown in the picture at the right) are attached to the bucky with a mounting rod and are viewable at any angle.
Magnetic Markers are attached to the bucky with mounting plates holding the markers with our triple magnet system.
Our newest addition in the marker line are the High Definition Markers to fit Siemens Mammography Machines.
The CR Protocol Bridge is a device that captures exposure settings data from a mammography X-Ray machine and transfers that information to a CR Radiology Workstation.
This allows the workstation to append the exposure information to the digital X-Ray images it processes and stores on image servers, so the radiologist has a complete record of the exposure conditions.
